Pint, birch, alder, acacia, beech and walnut woods and straws have been analyzed rhemically by him and he finds that the wood has vastly more albumen, ni trogen and fatty substance than the straw. The inventor claims that "a very ;heap cattle food can be prepared in ;his manner, to which may be added potato peelings, corn husks and shells yf grain and the residue from the lugar beet after the sugar has been extracted." A prominent New York clergyman tells a little incident which came to his notice while he was watching the outside show of the coronation in London a few weeks ago. While waiting for the procession he saw two men away in the rear of the crowd. As they came down the street he thought he recognized one, and on looking through his glass be saw he was an American newspaper man. The clergyman said to his companion : "They are two American newspaper men; they are looking for an opening where they can see the procession. I'll wager that they find a place." He watched the two men as they worked their way into the crowd and through till they reached the line of sol diers which held the crowd back. This was accomplished in just , fifteen minutes from the time the men were Been in the rear of the crowd.
