The funeral of John A. MacDonald,
who was killed in the railroad wreck
near Forest Grove, was held at his late
home, near McMinnville, Friday. The
deceased was a stonemason by trade,
and came here about three years ago
from Salem, whore he had long been a
resident. He was married, a year ago,
to Mrs. Marv Allen, of this place. Be­
sides his widow, he leaven a mother and
brother residing in Boston, Mass. Mr.

and was building the first brick hop-
house, in the state, at his farm just
