WILL PLAY U. of 0. Initial Game of Basket Ball to Oc cur on December 5th. Manager Frank Kersay inform« u9 that he ha« already eonsutnated ar rangements for two games of basketball outside of the regular league games. The first will occur witii the team from the University of Oregon at our gym nasium on December 5th, and the sec ond will be with the Alaska bunch of huskies and take place on the 11th or 12th of .fanuarv. The University of Oregon claim to have a great team, one that is already scheduled to play with a number of the best teams of the east. They are said to l>e cruckerjaek players and on to all the fine points and curves of this intri cate and most interesting game. How ever it is expected that our boys will give them a close game, and that tliev will not go east supremely flushed with victory. VVe think we have just about the best team we ever bad and the Isiys expect to prove it good and hard to every body before tile season is over. At this w riting our players are all in g.xsl form, and if no unforseen accident occurs they exp ict to lead our college on to the same victorious finale that they have so many times in the past. Our lineup will lie: Forwards. Carl Fenton, Edgar Craven. Center— Ned Shaw. Guards—Claud Shaw, Tracy Saverv.
