the people move around or do any
thing with the quails three feet deep
at evcrv step? And just think how
many would be smothered to death
and die for want of water and food.

a stench that no human being could
live within miles of the place, let alone
in the midst of them. It says Un

Can anyone believe that all those peo
ple stood up for sixty hours? Now if

were complaining to Moses of what a

them that he would call on God and
see what could bo done for them.
Well, Moses did call on God, and lie
came down and they had a talk, and
God promised the people meat. That
was the food they wished for, and God
said to the people, you shall have
meat. You shall not eat one day, nor
two days, nor fivo days, neither ten
days, nor twenty days, but even a
whole mouth, until it comes out at
your nostrils. Now does he fulfill his
promise to tho people? And it says
the least anyone gathered was ten
homers. Now a homer is a little over
eleven bushels, so that th poorest
worker gathered one bundled and ten
bushel-. Suppose we say they aver
aged fifteen homers, that would be
330,000,000 bushels of quail they all
gathered. And it mys they, spread
them abroad. Now wheto did they

diameter was covered three feet deep
with quails. It appears that the Lord
treated these people with cruelly en
