F. linker, formerly residing at Union, but now living at Spokane Fulls is defendent in a divorce suit at Union, in which he does not show up to any particular advantage. Ho deserted his wife and child some months ago but the plucky woman returned from Iowa and made it so hot for her in grate husband that he incontinently jumped the town. Last week he pass ed through Pendleton on the east bound train and returned two days la ter accompanied by a woman to whom ho seemed more than necessarily at tentive. He had just about time to make the trip to Weiser, and return but might not have gone that far. one thing is certain he had no busi ness of sufficient importance to stop over at Union. The suit against him for divorce will come up next month at Union and there will be sufficient evidence to show to tho world how low and despicable a man can descend. Pendleton Tribune.
