The expenses were $1,376.70,- leaving a net profit of $6728.-30, ' of Jwhich amount each : team's .' share amounted to $3,364.15, out of which the necessary expenses had to be paid. Had , the day been clear the receipts would have been far above $10,000. In the 'attendance from the re spective cities, Corvallis made a much better showing than Eu gene, nearly 1400 tickets having been sold here, , while Eugene had about 500 to its credit.
