Moore, the great temperance lecturer, is to lecture in St. Helen some time in November. We are not apprised of the precise time. Received a call on Wednesday from Mr. James, piano-tuner and Francis Jdiles. Mr. James has tuned Judge Moore's piano as well as that of Mr. Miles. The bridge over Frogmore canyou is completed, and all the Scappoose people appreciate it very much. Mr. Gill was down with his team, and was delighted with tho bridge. We have received from A. L I3an crofttheir series of School readers, Nos. , 2, 3, 4, & 5. They are marvels of beauty, we will next week publish a crit ical review of them.
