The en tertainment given byjthe Monmouth Amateurs on Friday night April 25, was largely attended and was voted Jby everybody present to lo a decided success. The actors knew their parts thoroughly and performed them in a manner that did much credit to themselves." The exe cises were interspersed with well selected voca' music. It is nothing more than justice to the the audience to state that the order maintained throughout the entire evening was excellent. We are informed that the young folk 8 of Monmouth for some unknown -reason have withdrawn from, and refused to partici pate in the celebration of the Picnic which is to take place to-day on Monnt Plsgah.
