Salt Check, April 15, 1S72.
Ed. Kei'Ublican :
In your paper of week before last
you made mention of a tarty of hunters
numbering twenty, having the assistance
of forty do9, beinj; out a week, and
killing only two deer. I have been bed
fast ever hiico the hunt or I f-hould
have cotreeted your statement before.
It was not an old fashioned hunt, but
an amatuer hunt. Instead of twenty
men, five was the numberand instead
of forty dos, eight was the number.
Well, we did kill two deer, besides a
good many that we didn't kill. We pot
all we wanted, and I will say that we
have the dog? that can kill or catch as
many deer as any other dogskin the
State and as for man material, the best in
world and plenty of it Ah booh as I
got well and Tom gets somebody nomi
nated, we will try it again. Ed.

HAIR
RENEWER
Every year increases tlie popularity
of tliH valuable Hair Preparation;
which is due to merit alone. Wc can
assure our old patrons that it is kept
fully tip to its hili standard ; and it
is the only reliable and j ;ei feci ed pre -aration
for restoring Gkay ok Faded
Haiii to its youthful color, making it
soft, lustrous, and silken. The scalp,
by its use, becomes white and clean.
It removes all eruptions and dandruff,
and, by its tonic properties, prevent
the hair from falling out, as it rtinm
hues and nourishes the hair-glands.
y its use, the hair grows thicker and
stronger. Jnlfcaldncss, it restores tho
capillary glands to their normal vigor,
and will create a new growth, except
in extreme old age. It is the most
economical IIaiu Dkessixg ever used,
as it requires fewer applications, and
J gives the hair a nplendid, glossy ap
! liearance. A. A. I laves, M.D- State
