A fte r years of ex perience, beginning with the wild grapes from the forest, and then growing the Isabella, Cataw ba, Di ana, and so on down to the present moment, we are ob liged to ray that there is one variety that, all things considered, stands out over and a- bove all. That variety is the C on cord. W e have grow n this from its first introduction to the present time, and have some seasons raised tons of fruit, and durin g all this time we have never failed to get a good crop of fruit, and always ripe enough to l>e good, and som etim es as dur ing this season- of excellent quality] The more we cultivate this variety, the more we are pleased with it. We have grown alm ost every * u t that has ever been introduced, but after all consider the Concord by far the most valuable of all.
