The wire for half a mile w as torn from the poles and some of it lot and insulators were melted. It was an uncommon freak for this thuiidt-rless section of ihe world. T. I). Linton informs the Eu uene Guard that the hop lice are increasing very fat. He sprayed one vine Wednesday, and on ex- I animation found that it killed every insect.
