The li'ivce-Lansing company, with a much stronger support than ever before, are billed for the opera bo.i-e in tliis citv on Saturdav. Nov. 2'.. They have becn v ry popular here. The Post-Intelligencer cavs of them : "Tom's va cation," as a play, (Tiniot be called a success. In fact, it makes no pre tentions f that nature. It is sim ply a thread uhiii which are bung as clever bits of choice c imedy, pimple and pleasant, wraps of mu sic and versatile impersonations as any audience could wish to see. The company does not pretend to to great things, and for that reason the audience is surprised and de lighted at the cleverness of every thing done. Bay Rovce, the old time favorite, again delighted the audience with his remarkable power of mimicry, of a seedy trag edian, a nervous ba :helor, im eld erly poetess, a simpering school girl, etc. caught the popular fancy. Lizzie Royce, has improved in singing daring the past year and her voice, always as sweet and pure and pure as a bird's, and her bewitching ways charmed every body. The addition of Mr. Charles orwitz, a clever young cenimed ian, has greatly strengthened the company, his specialties all being new. The music was varied and of a very refined order. Little Jessie, a sweet child, with a very musical voice, and unaffected ways danced charmingly and brought down the house with her childish singing, ('alia Barbour, the rus tic beauty, was very active in "inging and dancing, Billy Bar bour portn-yed the rural landlord to peifoction. Arthur Moore's "I'll Itevelopit" was inimitable. The com pan v appears ag-iin to night and those who can enjoy stood, hearty, clear-cut farce-comedy should not fail to attend. The Myrtle Creek Miaen.
