Parnell slep frequently at the hojse when O'Shea wa-i not there. He was in the drawing room at one time with Mrs. O'Shea and the door locked. When Capt. O'Shea rang the front door bell Parnell escaped from the house, went to the front door, rang the bell and asked to see Capt.O'S'hea. lie did not escape by the stairs. Ttiey informed some men near at hand and upon investigation the body was feun-l to be in a fearful stite of decom position, the man, apparently having been ileal a month or more. Around Ins neck was a small rope which had broken, onej part of it being tied to a beam 1 above, which clearly showed it t v be, a case of suicide.
