It was not thought at first that it is the regu lar nop louse mat n.is proved so injurious to the h.,p tields of New York and other Eastern stales, and in but few yards has it yet lone any damage and in those yards the damage is very light. Prof. F. L. Washburne, oi the ex periment station of the State Agri cultural college, examined some of the yards lat week and says the hop louse is there in considerable numbers.
