proposes to cut and load on the
cars at the mill gratis, the prize
stick of the world. They have
turned out a stick 150 feet long,
squaring 30x30 inches, and claim
that they can do much better than
that. The three big mills of Kitap
county Blakely, Madison and
Gamble are getting up a bit of
rivalry among themselves although
they are a unit in tin matter ot
'doing up' the Tacoma mills on
the prize stick."
Mr. E. H. Morrison, superin
tendent of the Seattle x Northern
railroad, stales that the road ii

and is being rapidly extended to
