a gun. Lew went to C'orvallie
and tried to have Morg. arrested,
but the authorities refused to have
anything to do in the matter, ad
vising Lew to defend himself.
lew then procured a revolver and
went home. Morg. had the repu
tation of being a quarrelsome man
and w as a terror in his neighbor
hood, as we learn from parties of
that neighliorhood yesterday.

their several offices, where they
will be put on exhibition.
