Not to see our stoves and ranges
before buying is a mistake. Mis

i Fifty ilea Repairing tho Track for the

Headmaster J. II. McQnaid with
a crew of 50 irren went to the
front of the Oregon Paei fic yesterday
for the purpose, of putting 'the track
in repair and opening the road to
the extreme end of the track, pre
paratory to the resumption of the
work of construction.
Tho track at the iront was con
siderably damaged by the storms
last winter, and the road is ob
structed by slides and washouts in
several places. The unusual fall
of sno.v during tho winter has pre
vented the work of repairs, but the
recent warm weather has taken
much of the snow out, and the
track will now be put in good or
der. This work will probably re
quire two or three weeks, alter
which it is understood the work ct
! construction will be resumed, and
j the road pushed across the moun-

2d. Because it is at least 15 fct

cause it is the only addition that
