Some OH e.-ViticBi Conoerni&g Stat s ati-i Conaty Politics. The state and county tickets oi both political parties are now in the field, and the campaign is fairly opened. The third party will cut no limine in the politics of the state this year, and the in terest is centered in the two par lies, the republicans and the democrats. The democrats acknowledge that the most of the men placed on the state ticket are only lambs to be slaughtered, as the republicans have put their liest men forward and have a large majority in the state. For one or two ollices, how ever, they will make a persistent tight, especially for the governor ship. Even the democrats who condemned Pcnnnyer's cranky actions a few months a-.ro are try ing now to work up a little boom for him, but the people of the state have had enough of IVnnoyer ami they will sav so at the polN next June. In the county politics the cam paign has not yet assumed any activity. No sperchtnaking has yet been arranged for, a though the campaign orators will bo abroad before the leafy month oi June. The republicans ..: Finn county have put good men foward on the ticket, and as the campaign pro gresses the IIi.ua i.i) may have some reasons to oiler why a por tion of them, at least, should be elected. Snr rVrlf-rnn. A camp of Sons of Veterans was organized in this city on Thursday (veiling, with a good membership and Mattering prospects of success. The followingoilirers were elected ; Captain. J.
