Not t K'c our stoves and ranges
before buying is a mistake. Mis
takes are always mostly. In heat
ing stoves we have the largest as
well as the most carefully selected
stock in the city. The stoves we
oiler were not bought as an experi
ment but as a certainty. "We
know what each stove will do, and
they were bought for cash, so the
price is right. We have special
ties in heaters, beside our regular
lines of Garland, Argand and .Su
perior stoves and ranges.

IMPORTED SEED WHEAT.
A Movemsat to Improve the Wheat cf the

Some of the leading w heat grow

wheat will arrive in Albany wit!) in
a few davs.
On this subject an article in the
New Year's Oregonian savs that
i one great trouble now found is that
in grinding valley wheat it luss de
teriorated so much in the past few
years that it requires more of it to
make flour.and it is is not as strong
when made. There is no doubt of
the fact that the whole wheat of
this valley requires a radical
change, in order to bring it back to
what it was ten years ago. If we
keep on as at present, growing the
same wheat, in a few years more
there will be nothing left for the
mi'ls to grind but a thidik husk.
The flour products will be so weak
and pcor that we will be unable to
