Prichard, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, died oi pul monary disease, at her home in this city on Tuesday morning, Dec. 31, IKS".), a-e.l 2S year.-. She was a devoted Christian wife and mother, and leaves besides her husband and two children, a wide circle of friends who mourn her untimely deth. She was the eld est daughter of Uev. E.J.Thomp son, D. D.. of Corvallis. . She was born in Shoram, Vermont on Nov. 15. '181)1. She removed with her parents to Minnesota, residing in the northern ortion of the state. Later her parents removed to Min neapolis, where she united with the Andrew Presbyterian church at the early age of IS. A year or two later, though really an invalid, she began studying in the State university and persevered in this work until in tne tumor class, when by the doctor's advice, her parents removed with her to Cas ileton, North Dakota. There she married Kev. Jh. K. rncnard on Dec. 27, J88I.- After, trying this climate for four years, she, her husband and little George came to Salem, Oregon, where: they re mained until May, i(8o, when Bev.
