The San Francisco P.ulletin has evidently been listening to untruth ful reports concerning the fruit crop of Oregon. In a recent issue it says: "Oregon has a very poor lruit crop and will detKMid largely upon California this year. Our own crop is not over big, but it is reported that the demand of the canners will be moderated this season and our growers will prob ably cheerfullv meet anv demands that Oregon may make upon I them '' Till" f.-ietx an- flint tlir I fruit crop of the Willamette Valley promises a remarkable yield. The cherry crop this year has been immense, and the fast are now on the market. Plums are beginning to ripen, and soon prunes will be on hand, and then pears and apples will follow. The bulletin has been misinformed, and California fruit growers would do well to turn their eyes eastward for a market for their surplus crop.
