A special to the Post-Dispatch from Denver says: A man answering the description of Tascott, the Chicago burglar, who murdered milllion aire Sneli, has just been arrested. A reward for his arrest of $20,000 is offered. He has been employed here as bartender for some weeks under the name of Edward J. Carter. The arrest was made at the instigation of .a detective, who followed Carter through Oregon, Washington, California and Ne vada. tO.t TO C.4AD4 The I'naeeonntable Crookedness of a Ton n n Millionaire. New Yokk, Sept. 28. The ex citement caused on the produce change by Wm. K. Poster's for gery has been added to to-day by a rumor of another mort;aie having been discovered to be bogus. Trustee Orr dates that another mortgage for $S000 is suspected to be bogus, but there has not been time to investigate i . This would increase Foster's stealings to about $176,000. It is believed that Foster is in Canada. The fugitive's father will make good the amount of the defalcations. The sum taken is about 15 per cent, of a total fund, and unless returned each member will lose ! about $12,000. Some of the mem bers are inclined to think that Foster is nut in his riht mind.
