in the death of one ot the parties.

instructing the men to take Tindle !
to the house and go for a doctor, j
said he would go and give himself
up, and left the crowd, since which j
time nothing has been heard or ;

j and not liable to recover,
j Mr. Davis is supposed to be hid
ing in the vicinity, and if Tindle

Sunday morning the citizens of
Dallas were awakened by the peal
of the fire bell. The alarm was
caused by the burning of a barn
belonging to Hon. J. D. Lee,
corner of Court and Main streers.
which was totally destroyed. The
barn contained three tons of flax
belonging to County Commissioner
McBee. No insurance.
