A republican couveution for the state of Oregon is called to meet at the city of Portland, Oregon, on ( Wedci'Silay, the 11th day of April, A. D. 188$, at 1 1 o'clock A. M., ! lor iLe purpose of nominating can didates for the following officers, to-wit. Representative in congress, three presidential electors, supreme judgo and district officers, and to select six delegates to attend the national republican convention, ;nd to transact such other business as mav properly come before the convention. The convention will consist of 209 delegates, apportion ed.amfbg the several counties as follows: Del.
