Reed, of Norway, who has been somewhat under the weather for some time past, re turned from Marshfield Wednes day where he had been under the care of Dr. Horsfall. He returns much improved in health o f which we are pleased to make note. Mrs. Capt- Morse, of Berkeley, California, is here making her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Capt, C. H. Butler, a visit. Mrs. Morse will be remembered by her large oirde of friends here rb Miss Eva Butler, all of whom will be exceedingly well pleased to see her at this time. Our annual school meeting is to be held next Monday. A direotor to serve the term of three years is to be elected as also a clerk to serve one year, beside other mat ters of importance to look after. It is to he Loped a full attendance will be present and a deep interest mr.uifested in the welfare o f oar school. Mrs. W. C. Martin, o f this oity, went to Marshfield Wednesday to catch the new steamer Breakwator, for San Francisco, where she will visit for a short time when she will take her departure via New York, for the place of her birth at Vien- an, Austria, where she will visit relatives and friends o f her child, hood. She expects to be absent three or four months. C. O.
