The steamer Anteb’ l'f from the
lower river, and both the Fawn
nnd Beta from the upper liver,
were thronged with p itrous to the
number of 130; while a special
train from the bay delivered a
round hundred Woodmen and
friends. The ball was thronged to
its utmost, and the number of
masked participants reached a
high number, creating much in
terest and mirtlifulness.
The music wns furnished by
Leach’s orchestra, of five pieces,
and of course filled the bill in every
respect, and the dance went on
throughout the night.
