The Coos county baseball nine reached this place, the home of three o f them, last Wednesday, returning with scalps from Grants Pass and Roseburg. They departed some three weeks before ou invita tions to be present and contest at the field-day sports at Grants Pass, and then to Roseburg for champi onship and purses.
