A grand exhibition was given by
the Brewster Valley school lust
Friday night, which wos well
attended aud immensely successful.
The program lasted full 4 hours,
hut interest was kept up to the
highest pilch throughout.

the program, the dance progressed
till broad daylight.
A delightful
supper was prepared by the ladies
of the neighborhood.
Arthur
Biown was the teacher of the
school and lias made many friends
amoug the patrons. The program
consisted of songs, recitations, dia
logues, tableaux, etc., and suited nil
tastes from sedate to comical. The
pupils are few in number and gen
erally quite young, but performed
splendidly.
