The change in the postoffice of
this place has created a great deal
of comment, and more or less feel­
ing. The importance of xhe office
or rather the pay is such of late
that it will change with the ad­
ministration from time to time.
A change was asked with no re­
monstrance or counter petition to
retain the past incumbent, and it
is all that one would (xpect to see
a man who was in harmony with
the party have the place. In such
cases our senators and congress­
man should not be judged too
harshly. Johnny Leneve would
have been a good official, but a re­
publican must have it, and we say
Judge Nosier is the right man.
