yesterday changed to a pleasant warm«

A few weeks of such

W e s t B id e R a i l r o a d . —The people
of the West-Side counties will rejoice
to learn that men of reliability and means
are subscribing liberally for bonds lately
issued to raise funds to complete and
equip the first twenty miles of the road
on this side of the river. When such
men as W. S. Ladd, C. M. Carter, S. G.
Reed, J . C. Ainsworth and other re

enterprise, and invest their money in it
we have no fears as to the final result.
Let every encouragement and all the
aid consistent with their means be given
by those interjsted in the completion
of the road, and the West-Side couuties
will soon enjoy a new era of prosperity.
