With the plan» com pleted which arc now being con sidered this would become the greatest school in the world. Ar rangements are being made for its enlargement to a colossal scale. Judge Buffington and William Met calf, Jr., two well known Pittsburg ers. were called to Scotland within the last few weeks and the plans for the great school building perfected at Skidoo Castle. The Carnegie school already ■ boasts of t 2t o pupils but the recent reports from it-jti ustees indicate that j the institution was alt«»gelher inad equate to the demands on it by the rapidly increasing membership. With this proposed munificent gift Carnegie will ¿have bequeathed $20, 000,000 to this school and while Judge Buffington and Mr. Metcalf would make no public announcement of Mr. Carnegie’s detailed plans it is Known that the worthy owner of Skidoo intends to make this school lhe principal bearer of his name to the generations that come and will keep giving his wealth to the school as long as its needs for expansion demand it.
