I scores are being made. Mr. Sellmer I has offered a cash prize of $2.50 for the highest score during September. The man in the lead so far is C. Christiansen who made a score of 207 on Sept. 4th. Tuesday afternoon and evening has been designated as ladies* day and the ladies are certainly taking advantage of their opportunity. So far the high score among the ladies has been made by Miss May ! Hamlin, whose record is 136 pins in a single game. This is a very high i score for a lady. • • « o • the market. Meat Buyers A picnic was given in her honor last Sunday by the Corps and the Post, a number of friends being in vited. Mrs. Courter resides in Portland and this is her first visit to Bandon.
