Harriman, the greateet in dividual in the railroad world is enjoying a summer vacation at his ranch, Pelican Lodge, near Klamath, Ore. It is to be hoped that Mr. Harriman will be brought to realize the great need of more railroads in Oregon, and the great benefit to his extensive system, that such roads would be. A road from Drain or Roseburg extending through Coos county, tapping all the important towns on Coos Bay and the Coquille river, would be a money making proposi tion for Harriman and at the same time would be a Godsend to the people of Coos county and be the means of developing millions of dollars worth of property that must necessarily lie dormant until such railroad is built.
