F allowing is a nummary ot the
weather repifft as sent out by the
Climatological service at Portland:
• Except along the immediate coast,
where cloudiness was prevalent,
the weather during the week was
characterized by almost cloudless
skies. This was particularly true Af
the counties west of the Cascades,
where no rain occurred.
In the
easterit counties there were fre
quent thunderstorms during the
early days of the week, which were
ysually attended by high wiftds.
The precipitation accompanying
these storms was generally very
light and in many cases was entirely
lacking. This caused a discomfort
ing condition of the atmosphere in
certain localities. Temperature dur
ing the day was unseasonably high
except along the coast, but at night
did not vary much from the normal.

There has been too much
trouble in the Oregon delegation

There

should be no “trouble” in the

United States senators and mem- .
