Suicide at Marshfield.
Andrew Sudderland of Marshfield,
28 years old, was found dead in
Simpson Park at North Bend Friday
morning, his throat being cut from
ear to ear. A coroner’s jury after
thoroughly investigating the affair
returned a verdict of suicide.
Sudderland disappeared the day
before yesterday and his relatives
becoming anxious about his abseiis.'t*
this morning organized a search-
ine party.
W ithin a short time
after the searching party had stat ted
on its quest, the body was found in
the park, about twenty or thirty feel
from the roadway.
The razor was still grasped in his
lifeless hands. 1 he coat and vest
were folded and lying on the grass
near the body. Ihe death stroke
had been dealt w ith an inrwtv i-t nig
h »nd, the one slash having almost !
severed the head.
