This com pany will move into their new quarters in the new Denholm build ing within a short time. While giving a couple ot little children a ride in awheel barrow ami adding to their pleasures, Chas. L. Anderson, a pioneer resident of North Bend, dropped dead of heart disease late yesterday afternoon. Mr. Anderson was nearly’ eighty years old but had been enjoying good health up to the time that he was stricken,—Times. Heuckendorft’s shipyard recently commenced work to build a tow ing barge for the Wheeler Lumber Company of Nehalem. The vessel will be strictly up-to-date in the lum ber anti towing business, is 134 feet long, 34 foot beam and 9 feet hold. Mr. Wm Wheeler, of the Wheeler Lumber Company is now in Bandon, superintending construc- tion. L. A. Former Bandon Pitcher Weds. « AND The following from the Examiner of Aprril 2.8th will be of interest to friends of the one time Ban Ion st ir pitcher. The marriage of Miss Hazel May Root and Charles A. Baum, man ager of the Fresno Baseball Club, took place last evening at the home of the bride’s mother, 1618 Sutter street. The ceremony was perform ed by the Rev. Cecil Marrack of St. Steven’s Episcopal church in the presence of about one hundred friends and relatives. Miss Root was attended by Miss Lizzie Baum, sister of the groom, Edwin and Miss Shirley Erret Bernard Myers and Edward Johnson acted in a like capacity for the bride groom. Mrs. Baum, who is nineteen years of age, is the Daughter of Assemblyman George. W. Root of Grass Valley. Site has made her home in San Francisco for a number of years past, and has a large circle of friends on both sides of the bay. The bride was the recipient of many beautiful wedding presents in cluding a magnificent silver set from the directors of the Fresno Baseball Club. Mr. and Mrs. Baum, after a brief trip to Del Monte will make their home in Fresno. A Suggestion. To the Business Men of Bandon: I expect to begin a series of evan gelistic services in your city on Sun day May 10th. During such re vivals in Coquille, Gardiner and other places, all business houses, by mutual consent closed at seven o’clock, so all who desired could have the opportunity of attending.
