There was some contention relative to tbe divorce cases and only one granted of tbe number asked for and that was not Lynn Doyle's, for that was waiting Judge Quick s de cision. Divorce eases form a promi nent factor in our court calendar at tbe present time and it is to be re gretted that there are so many mis mated couplee: today divorce is an every day occurrence, its prevalence is indeed sometbiug like an epidemic in tbe land. Yet in tbe days when no divorce was possible with the masses, murder by poisoning, was al most as common as divorce is today When two people find life under one roof and one name obnoxious, separa lion is tbe only moral and decent course to pursue. Surely of tbe two evils divorce is preferable to murder. Ooe of our fellow townsmen, Judge Cecil has sold bis property here, and accompanied by bis estimable wife took bis departure for California to eside in the future.
