known in tbe world of railway affairs.
A few who can be mentioned at tbis

ex president of the Brooklyn Rapid
Transit company; Senator William
H. Lynn. New York; Baker & Crab
tree, St, Louts bankers, connected
witb tbe trust companies tbere in
which brewers' capital is largely in
vested. Within tbe next 30 days
they will complete tbe organization
in Oregon of a corporation that will
lie known as the Oregou Coast A
Eastern Railway Company, and this
corporation will take over tbe entire

ates.
