This caught til o from the furnace, and although parties had visited tho factory a few minutes before, preparatory to retir ing for tho night, tho lire was well started and burning llercely whon discovered, so that theio wasnochance to savo anything within the building, and tho destruction of the plant was complete, the boiler probably being tho only thing left that has uot been badly damaged. Be-ides the machinery thero were about C0.00O hanillcs ami some 10,000 squares destroyed causing a loss of about 2,000, and laying several men off work. The broonibnndl.i plant was about ono hundred yards from tho sawmill and the wind blew from tho latter so that the mill was not endangered.
