Officers contacted all of the involved parties and determined no crimes had been committed. • Report of an emotionally distressed person in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Officers checked the area, but were unable to find the person. Monday, Aug. 15 • Citizen contact occurred in the 9600 block of Grand Ronde Road. Officers were contacted by a citizen needing civil papers served to a resident of Yamhill County, who works out of the area. The citizen was provided with information on how to request getting civil papers served in different coun- ties. • Assisted an outside agency with a domestic disturbance in the 9600 block of Hebo Road. Officers located a male and female who were involved in a physical dispute at a different location. Officers assisted with interviews and the male was arrested for assault. • Citizen contact occurred in the area of highways 18B and 22. • Domestic disturbance reported in the 100 block of Wind River Drive. Of- ficers responded to a 911 hang-up at the location. When officers arrived, they heard yelling and contacted a male and female. Officers determined that no crimes were committed. Tuesday, Aug. 16 • Death investigation in the 48000 block of Blacktail Drive. A female resident passed away due to natural causes. • Traffic assist performed for a disabled motorcycle near milepost 22 on Highway 18. • Traffic assist performed for a disabled vehicle on Grand Ronde Road near McPherson Road. Wednesday, Aug. 17 • Officers assisted with the service of civil paperwork in the 9600 block of Grand Ronde Road. • Welfare check requested in the 9600 block of Tilixam Circle. Officers responded and verified the community member was OK. • Officers checked on a suspicious vehicle near milepost 23 on Highway 18. The vehicle was vacant and nobody was located in the area. • Officers assisted an outside agency with a traffic stop in the 26000 block of Salmon River Highway. The vehicle was towed due to suspended driv- ing privileges and no insurance. • Officers assisted an outside agency with a domestic disturbance in the 1000 block of West Main Street in Sheridan. Officers determined that no crimes were committed. Thursday, Aug. 18 • Officers were asked to check on an unregistered camper in Big Buck campground. Officers contacted the campers and provided them with information on how to properly reserve a campsite. • Officers were requested to cover an outside agency in the 500 block of Northeast Sherman Street in Sheridan. Officers were told to disregard before arrival. • Report of a domestic disturbance in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the distur- bance. • Non-injury crash occurred in the 47000 block of Hebo Road. Officers as- sisted with the exchange of insurance information. Friday, Aug. 19 • Investigation follow-up performed in the area of the 9600 block of Grand Ronde Road. • Reported theft in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Mislaid prop- erty was taken by another person. • Property found in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. • Attended community event in the 9600 block of Hebo Road. Officers spent time at the Grand Ronde Contest Powwow and no issues were reported. • Driving under the influence of intoxicants reported near milepost 1 on Highway 22. Officers contacted a male and he was arrested for DUII (mar- ijuana). • An officer contacted a male reported as a suspicious person in the 26000 block of Salmon River Highway. • Domestic disturbance reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Officers contacted the involved parties and determined that no crimes were committed. Saturday, Aug. 20 • Attended a community event in the 9600 block of Hebo Road. Officers spent time at the Grand Ronde Contest Powwow and took a report of an assault/harassment and a couple of theft reports. • Traffic assist performed for a citizen locked out of their vehicle in the 9600 block of Hebo Road. • Officers requested by an outside agency to provide cover for a domestic disturbance in the 300 block of Northeast First Street in Willamina. The suspect left the area before officers arrived and probable cause to arrest the suspect for menacing was developed after an investigation. • Officers assisted an outside agency with a DUII investigation in Sheridan. Sunday, Aug. 21 • Attempt to locate a motorcycle that eluded Oregon State Police troopers on Highway 18. Officer received a report of a motorcycle that had eluded multiple agencies between McMinnville and Grand Ronde at speeds of more than 100 mph. The motorcycle was located on Highway 18 near milepost 29, but a traffic stop was not attempted due to the motorcycle sNok signflz 17 exceeding speeds of 100 mph and driving recklessly. The motorcycle was later located in Lincoln City and the driver was arrested. • Traffic assist performed for a citizen locked out of their vehicle in the 9600 block of Hebo Road. • Report of a domestic disturbance in the 27000 block of Salmon River High- way. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the disturbance. • Welfare check performed in the 26000 block of Salmon River Highway. An officer contacted an intoxicated male and provided him a ride. Monday, Aug. 22 • Citizen contact occurred in the 100 block of Wind River Drive. • Non-injury crash reported in the 9600 block of Hebo Road. Officers arrived and assisted with the exchange of insurance information. • Attempt to locate a potential DUII vehicle in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle due to a time delay. • Officers contacted a suspicious vehicle on private property in the 9600 block of Grand Ronde Road. Officers contacted the vehicle’s occupants and told them to move along. Tuesday, Aug. 23 • Welfare check requested in the 48000 block of Eagle Loop. Officers re- sponded and verified the community member was OK. • Suspicious vehicle reported in the 9600 block of Grand Ronde Road. Offi- cers checked on the vehicle, which was vacant and nobody was located in the area. Wednesday, Aug. 24 • Drug complaint reported in the 27000 block of Grand Ronde Road. • Traffic assist for a citizen locked out of their vehicle in the 27000 block of Grand Ronde Road. • Officers assisted with a community member’s funeral procession. • Officers assisted an outside agency as they located and arrested an elude suspect in Sheridan. Thursday, Aug. 25 • Investigation follow-up performed in the area of the 9600 block of Grand Ronde Road. • Officers attended a department training. Friday, Aug. 26 • Officers contacted a suspicious vehicle near milepost 22 on Highway 18. The driver was heading to Lincoln City and had stopped to rest. • Theft reported in the 26000 block of Salmon River Highway. • Investigation follow-up performed in the area of the 2200 block of North- east McDaniel Lane in McMinnville. Officers contacted a suspect who was arrested for multiple crimes. • Theft reported in the 9600 block of Grand Ronde Road. • Trespass reported in Elder housing. Officers contacted a previously tres- passed male and arrested him for trespass. Saturday, Aug. 27 • Lost property reported in the 9600 block of Grand Ronde Road. • Officers assisted an outside agency with a struck deer near milepost 24 on Highway 18. • Non-injury crash occurred near milepost 24 on Highway 18. Officers assist- ed with the exchange of insurance information. • Domestic disturbance reported in the 9600 block of Tilixam Circle. Officers arrived and both involved parties were arrested. • Fraud reported in the 26000 block of Salmon River Highway. Counterfeit jewelry was sold by an unknown subject. • Officers were requested to cover an outside agency in the 300 block of Northwest First Street in Willamina. Sunday, Aug. 28 • Domestic disturbance reported in the 26000 block of Salmon River High- way. Officers determined that no crimes were committed. • Emotionally distressed person reported in the 25000 block of Salmon River Highway. Officers responded and located a person who had stabbed them- selves. The person was treated by medics and transported to the hospital for further care. • Officers contacted a suspicious vehicle near milepost 24 on Hebo Road. The occupants were advised that they were trespassing. Monday, Aug. 29 • Theft reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. • Officers assisted an outside agency with an emotionally distressed person in the 9300 block of Grand Ronde Road. Tuesday, Aug. 30 • Attempt to locate for a vehicle towing an RV with people inside consuming alcohol. Officers checked the area, but were unable to locate the vehicle. • Report of lost property in Grand Ronde housing. • Officers contacted a subject and served a trespass notice, excluding them from all of Grand Ronde Tribal lands and properties. • Drug complaint reported in the 27000 block of Salmon River Highway. • Officers assisted an outside agency with a non-injury crash near milepost 23 on Highway 18. Wednesday, Aug. 31 • Officers attended a department training. • Attempt to locate a vehicle driving westbound on Highway 22, passing other vehicles in an unsafe manner.
