The Tribe is planning on acquiring two more pillars and incorporating them into the current memorial in a complementary manner. Feb. 1, 2020 PROPOSED GOVERNMENT ADMINISTRATION ORDINANCE OPEN FOR COMMENT The Tribal Council, in consultation with the Tribal Attorney’s Office, has proposed adopting a Government Administration Ordinance. The proposed ordinance was given a first reading at the Dec. 31, 2019, Tribal Council meeting. The proposed ordinance combines and updates selected provisions from two older Tribal ordinances which have been in effect since 1993, but which have not been updated since 1994, and will better reflect the current structure of the Tribal government. If the proposed Government Administration Ordinance is adopted, the following ordinances would be rescinded: • Tribal Government Purpose Ordinance • Tribal Government Organization and Procedures Ordinance For a copy of the proposed Government Administration Ordinance, please contact the Tribal Attorney’s Office at 503-879-4664.
