St. Michael’s offers brunch
St. Michael’s Catholic Church offers an open house brunch every
Sunday following Mass. The brunch is free to the community. Brunch
begins at about 11:30 a.m. following the 10:30 a.m. Mass.
Mass attendance is not required for brunch attendance. For more
information or for kitchen and hall rental, contact Janelle Justen at

The Tribe is seeking Requests for Qualifications from
individuals interested in serving as the Chief Judge of the
Tribal Court. This is a part-time, Tribal Council-appointed
position with a term of two years.
Proposals must be received by 5 p.m. Friday, April 5,

The Parks and Recreation Program of The Confederated Tribes of
Grand Ronde, in cooperation with Oregon Youth Conservation
Corps, is seeking three Natural Resources interns/youth crew
leads for its Summer Youth Crew program. This is a great oppor-
tunity to obtain supervisory experience and practice hands-on
natural resource management techniques.
F&W Intern/ Youth Crew Leader Position
Start Date: Ju ne 10, 2019
Duration: 16 w eeks, 40 ho u r s/w eek
End Date: Septem ber 27, 2019
Pay: $11.50-$13.50/hr
Duties: Su per vise and pr o vide leader ship to an eight -person summer youth work crew for
up to eight weeks and assist the Natural Resources Department for approximately six weeks. Pro-
jects may include stream and riparian restoration/enhancement, trail maintenance and construc-
tion, native vegetation plantings, habitat enhancement monitoring, wildlife monitoring and other
natural resource and community projects.
Qualifications: Desir e to w o r k w ith yo u th and/o r in natu r al r eso u r ces. Mu st be able
to work in rugged outdoor terrain. Experience in the proper use of hand tools. Good communication
skills.
Requirements: W ork bo o ts, valid Dr iver ’s License, safe driving record. Must successfully com-
plete pre-employment background check, drug test, and moderate physical pack test. Must be able
to attend 3-day, 3-night (June 19-21, 2019) teamwork and working with at-risk youth training in
Bend, OR.
Work Location: Natu r al Reso u r ces Office, Gr and Ro nde. Gr and Ro nde is lo cated in
the foothills of the Coast Range approximately 30 miles northwest of Salem, 25 miles southwest of
McMinnville, or 50 miles north of Corvallis.

Youth Crew Member Position
The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde, in cooperation
with the Oregon Youth Conservation Corps is looking for 18
youth to work in a Summer Youth Crew Program.
These positions are designed and funded for the
purpose of providing employment experience and
meaningful opportunities to local area youth.
Youth Crew Member
Start Date: Mo nday Ju ne 24, 2019
Duration: 8 w eeks, 32 ho u r s/w eek
End Date: Fr iday Au gu st 16, 2019
Pay: $11.25/hr
Duties
Work as a member of an eight-person work crew. Projects include trail construction, habitat en-
hancement, invasive species removal, and other natural resource and community
enhancement projects.
Qualifications
Must be 15-18 years of age; have the ability or experience to safely, and properly use hand tools;
be able to work in rugged outdoor terrain. Interest in or experience in working in the outdoors
helpful.
Requirements
1) Furnish own work boots
2) Complete and pass pre-employment background check and drug test.

Natural Resources Office, Grand Ronde. Grand Ronde is located in the foothills of the Coast
