The Natural Resources Department’s Parks and Recreation Program
hosted the Lilu class for a nature walk at the Agency Creek Trail on
Tuesday, May 15. The nature walk was along Agency Creek and the
youths saw flowers, trees, bugs and a small snake. After the walk, Jim
Pinder of the Silviculture/Wildland Fire team brought the large fire
truck up and showed the children the inside and sprayed some water.
Lilu students ate a picnic lunch at Big Buck campground and then
headed back to their classroom to finish the day.
