shielding his daughter Riley as they participate
in the seventh annual Fun Walk/Run on the Tribal
campus on Saturday, April 15. Pre-race activities
included a disc jockey and inflatable obstacle courses. Golden eggs were
hidden throughout the course for prizes and color stations were along the
course to cover participants in color. The walk supports safe and happy
childhoods and healthy families for Child Abuse Prevention Month and is
organized by the Tribe’s Social Services Department’s Children & Family
Services program. About 270 people participated in the event.
