Board of Director’s Position Opening Spirit Mountain Gaming, Inc. invites dynamic business oriented individuals to apply to the Spirit Mountain Gaming, Inc. Board of Directors. There is an available board position open for a qualiied applicant who possesses the appropriate business knowledge and experience; preference will be applied to Tribal members. The SMGI Board of Directors is responsible to the Confeder- ated Tribes of Grand Ronde Tribal Council and oversees iscal accountability, budgets, policies, procedures and business op- erations of Spirit Mountain Casino. The SMGI Board meets once a month on the average but more if necessary. Each board member receives a stipend each month for their participation. Travel reimbursement is limited to the six (6) county service area for the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde: Polk, Yamhill, Marion, Tillamook, Multnomah and/or Washington. Qualiications should include general business knowledge, experience in hospitality/customer service driven environment, 10 years of experience in a responsible business position and strong inancial experience. Knowledge of Native American owned and operated organizations preferred but not mandatory. There should also be a demonstrated ability to be responsive to the goals of the business and its increasing dynamic character with appropriate analytical and communication skills. Ability to pass a thorough background check and obtain a gaming license is necessary. Deadline to apply is Oct. 31, 2016. If so, you may qualify for the Women, Infants and Children program. With WIC, people can receive answers to nutritional questions and access fruits and vegetables, whole grains, eggs, milk, cheese, juice, cereal and more. A WIC representative visits the Health & Wellness Center on the third Tuesday of the month, which will be Oct. 18. Walk-ins are welcome between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. When WIC clients arrive at the Health & Wellness Center, they should enter through the Wellness Department located at the back of the medical wing.
