As the request for art throughout the tribe and in different locations throughout Oregon has increased we have seen the need to make some changes. We currently have two artisans, Travis Stewart and Brian Krehbiel, with Bobby Mercier helping as time allows. The artisans have already greatly increased the art that is being produced. They have created pieces that have been used in our Museum and in other Museums as well. If you visit Chachlau, you will see items by both Brian and Travis on display. Our goal is to eventually have an art piece installed in every Tribal building. Art has also been installed in at The End of The Oregon Trail Museum, Lake Oswego and recently a play structure was installed in Corvallis that the artisans were consulted with on the design. There are more requests being made from other cities for possible future projects. All requests for art need to go through Kathy Cole and she will take it from there.
