Ballots were mailed to voters with verified signatures on July 29 and are due back by Election Day, which is Saturday, Sept.12. Tribal members must be regis- tered to vote and may register by creating a verified signature card at any time up to and including Election Day. The Election Office in the Tribal Community Center is open through Thursday, Sept. 3, from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a half-hour lunch from noon to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Multiple applications Spirit Mountain Casino will host the fourth annual Oregon Coast APPLICATIONS being voided for that hunter. Categories are as follows: Economic Summit on Wednesday and Thursday, Aug. 26-27. DEER (FIREARM ONLY) Sen. Arnie Roblan, D-Coos Bay, hosted the first summit in 2012. The summit’s objective is to continue community collaboration to find legisla- tive and community solutions to the challenges facing Oregon’s rural and coastal communities. Previous summits have seen attendance by members of Oregon’s congressional delegation, Tribal leaders, members of the state Legislature’s Rural and Coastal Caucus, state government executives, advisers to the governor and numerous statewide and local elected officials. Tribal Council Chairman Reyn Leno said the Grand Ronde Tribe is honored to host this year’s event. Last year’s event was held at the Three Rivers Casino and Hotel in Florence. n
