Sheridan Newberg, OR 97132 Opening Gala May 1, 2015 Event is at 6:00 pm Doors Open at 5:00 pm The First Fish Ceremony is held each year to commemorate the return of our relatives into the waterways. Each year the Salmon make an epic journey from the Pacific Ocean to the headwaters of our local rivers and streams. The return of the fish has always signified survival in the form of a valuable food source. We celebrate their arrival to commemorate their journey and to ensure their return.
