Smoke Signals 12 AUGUST 1,2013 at Donald Basil Hudson Croy Sr. Dec. 14, 1954 - July 8, 2013 Tribal Klder Donald Hnsil Hudson Croy Sr., 58, a resident of Metaline Falls, Wash., walked on July 8, 2013, as a result of injuries received in a motorcycle accident in Idaho. He was born Dec. 14, 1954, in Tillamook, Ore. He lived most of his life in Colville, Wash., and since late 2007 resided in Metaline Falls where he owned and operated DC Auto & Sales. He is survived by his sons, Donald Jr. of Prineville, Ore., and Dillon of Metaline Falls; and one grandson, Brice. He also is survived by his sisters Rita, Lola and Vickey and a brother, Edward. He was preceded in death two brothers, Glenn and Delmer. Viewing was held Saturday, July 27, in the Grand Ronde Tribal cemetery building with a graveside service following at the cemetery. Yamhill County seeking volunteer drivers Yamhill County is seeking volunteer drivers to transport local veterans to the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Portland.
