Elder Honor Day organizers photos Organizers of Elder Honor Day are seeking pictures from Tribal members of their grandparents, great-grandparents and other rela tives in an effort to have an ongoing display. Elder Honor Day will be held Tuesday, July 16, at Spirit Mountain Casino. To submit photographs, take them to the Elders' Activity Center and submit them to Elder Activity Assistant Dan Ham or the advocate on staff. For more information, contact Ham at 503-879-2233. Yamhill County seeking volunteer drivers Yamhill County is seeking volunteer drivers to transport local veterans to the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Portland. Volunteers are unpaid, but a meal is provided for their time. For more information or to volunteer, call Jim Cox at 503-472-4771. Community members wanted The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde's 477 Employment and Training Program and Land and Culture Department have resources that can be utilized along with community members who have a passion for gardening or want to learn the art of agriculture.
